How a typical owner uses MileLog
Name your vehicle and set the odometer
You just bought a used 2018 Civic with 67,500 miles. Type that into the Current Mileage field. Give it a name so you can tell it apart from your other vehicles later.
Tap the presets that apply
The previous owner changed the oil at 65,000 miles. Tap the Oil Change chip. A row appears. Enter 65,000 as the last service mileage and pick the date from the calendar. MileLog instantly shows the next due mileage (70,000) and estimated date.
Add anything unusual as a custom service
Your mechanic mentioned the transmission fluid should be changed every 40,000 miles. Use the custom row, name it "Transmission Fluid," set the interval to 40,000 miles and 36 months. Enter the last change date and mileage.
Save and check back anytime
Tap Save Vehicle. The Civic moves to Your Garage below. Next month, open MileLog, click the Civic tab, update the mileage, and see which services are coming due. Print the log before a road trip.

Questions people ask
Where does MileLog store my vehicle data?
Only in your browser's localStorage. No data is sent anywhere. If you clear your browser storage or use a different device, your saved vehicles won't appear.
Can I change the default service intervals?
Yes. When you add a custom service, you set the mileage interval and months between services. For preset services, the intervals are fixed based on common recommendations, but you can always add a custom entry with your own numbers.
How many vehicles can I save?
Up to 5 vehicles. If you need more, you can export your data as a JSON file, clear some slots, and import later.
Does this work for motorcycles?
Absolutely. The service types and intervals are relevant to motorcycles as well. Just enter your bike's name and mileage.
What if I drive much more or less than 30 miles per day?
The date projection uses 30 miles per day as a rough average. If your driving pattern is very different, the mileage-based due number will still be accurate—the date is just an estimate. You can always add a custom service with your own month interval.
